  We had a HORRIBLE experience with JR. We ordered a stove insert in November, and didn't receive it until MARCH!! After several calls, and multiple excuses (about the stove, the weather, his health), I finally had to threaten to sue him to get him to show up - and then he didn't install it properly. I withheld final payment until he would come back and fix it, and he called me EVERY day wanting his money, saying he would take care of it. I waited 4 MONTHS for my stove (after giving him a $3100 deposit), and he couldn't wait 1 week to receive his $350. I refused until it was fixed - then he wanted the check written directly in his name, but we wrote the check instead in his business's name (I don't think the "business" is his, or "legal"). After doing more research into him / his business the stories and references got WORSE!!! AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS.
